At the age of 28 I was in the grips of addiction and new recovering would be the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. In February 2020 I received a scholarship from the Pelican Intervention Fund which has completely changed my life. It gave me the help I needed to get on my own two feet and become financially independent. I am able to sponsor other women today and have the relationship with my family I have always wanted. I am forever grateful to the Pelican Fund for helping me every step of the way. – Delia
